Overview
Indus Health Plus Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern – Bioinformatician to join our Product Genetics team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in genomic data analysis, with exposure to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and microarray technologies. Under the mentorship of experienced bioinformaticians, you’ll learn how to apply computational approaches to real-world genetic data and contribute to ongoing research and product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing and organizing NGS and microarray data sets.
• Learn and implement standard bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data analysis.
• Participate in quality control (QC) and troubleshooting of computational workflows.
• Support senior bioinformaticians with literature reviews, data interpretation, and report preparation.
• Gain hands-on experience with widely used tools such as GATK, PLINK, and R. HTML, CSS
• Maintain clear documentation of all project workflows and analysis results to ensure reproducibility.
Qualifications & Skills
• Master’s degree in Bioinformatics is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of genomics, genetics, and bioinformatics tools.
• Willingness to learn and work with programming languages such as Python and R. HTML CSS
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
