Educational Requirements for the Project Associate Job:

M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Associate Job:
- Conduct extensive fieldwork and sampling related to environmental parameters.
- Perform bacteriological and chemical analyses of collected samples.
- Handle laboratory work, data collection, and data entry.
- Conduct data analysis and assist in project report preparation.
Skills Required for the Project Associate Job:
- This MSc Microbiology Job requires a strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Laboratory experience in microbiological and chemical testing.

Monthly Emoluments:
- (a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified for National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies / Institutions.
- (b) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above
Mode of Selection:
Selection for this NEERI Recruitment will be done on the basis of Walk-in Interview at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur. The candidates shall bring a passport-size photo, Aadhaar card, 10th(SSC), 12th (HSC), Graduate mark sheets, Degree, Postgraduate mark sheets, and Degree (one set photocopy and original) along with a filled application form attached with this advertisement.
Additional Information:
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects.
- The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for considering regularization against any CSIR/CSIR-NEERI post(s).
- Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- No application fees required.
- Only candidates with the essential qualification & declared results (provisional certificate) are eligible to apply.
- Result awaited/Final semester appeared or Ph. D submitted candidates are not eligible.
- Experience will be counted from the date after acquiring minimum educational qualification.
- No TA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview in case of offline interviews.
