Job Description – Intern – Bioinformatics

Position: Intern – Bioinformatics

Location: Allele Tech Private Limited, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Paid Internship (6 Months / 1 Year)

Stipend: ₹6,000 – ₹15,000 per month

What You Will Learn & Do

• Training in analysis of sequencing data (NGS, RNA-seq, WGS, metagenomics).
• Hands-on use of bioinformatics tools: FastQC, BLAST, Bowtie, and others.
• Introduction to programming and scripting (Python, R, Bash, or Perl).
• Learning to develop and maintain bioinformatics workflows.
• Exposure to data visualization, report generation, and project documentation.
• Keeping updated with the latest bioinformatics tools and approaches.

Who Can Apply

• B.Sc., B.Tech., M.Sc., or M.Tech. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming and bioinformatics tools is desirable.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and eagerness to learn.
