Job Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) professional is responsible for performing analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role supports maintaining product quality, compliance with cGLP, and consistent documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine and non-routine chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical samples.
• Prepare, standardize, and handle reagents and solutions required for testing.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate key laboratory instruments including HPLC, GC, UV, and IR spectrometers.
• Accurately document and report test results and ensure timely submission of records.
• Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and deviations, ensuring appropriate resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Manage sample receipt, storage, and retention as per SOPs.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Pharm.
• Experience: 2 – 3 years in pharmaceutical QC.
• Proficiency with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, IR).
• Strong documentation, analytical thinking, and reporting abilities.
