Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Project Title: Development of indigenous recombinant adenovirus vector-based oral rabies vaccine intended for free-roaming dogs. PI: Dr. Nagendra R. Hedge.

Post Code: Project Research Scientist -II (Non-Medical) (1 Position)

Tenable upto: One year, likely to be extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Eligibility:

1. First-class post-graduate degree, including integrated PG degrees, with three years’ experience OR PhD.
   OR

2. Second-class post-graduate degree, including integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three years’ experience. All qualification shall be from a recognized Board/University. All the experience gained shall preferably be from a government organization and shall be counted after the date of completion of the minimum essential qualification.

Experience: Molecular and cell biology techniques, cell culture, vaccine development, project management.

Fellowship amount: Rs. 67000/- PM + HRA (If applicable) as per ICMR guidelines.

Age: 40 years.
