Qualification: Master’s in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or any Life Sciences stream.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Cell-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening).

  • Enzyme-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening).

  • Invitro assay development, validation, and optimization of cell-based and enzyme-based assays for various targets in therapeutic areas such as CNS, metabolic disorders, autoimmune/inflammatory diseases, pain, and oncology in the drug discovery field.

  • Developing and optimizing assays and conducting regular screening of compounds.

  • Extensive work in functional cell-based assays and validation to determine the activity of new chemical entities (NCEs).

  • Engineering stable and transient cell lines.

  • Setting up platforms for interrogating compounds and platform development for target engagement models.
