Role Description
We are seeking a Research Scientist / Junior Research Fellow for an exciting project
supported by DBT-BIRAC which aims to develop microfluidic platforms for cell cultur
focusing on 3D cancer modeling and drug testing.
The selected candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in microfluidics, cell culture optimization, and translational medicine. This position also offers the potential to transition into a PhD opportunity, based on performance and mutual agreement
.Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and perform cell culture experiments on microfluidic platform
- Develop and refine protocols for 3D cancer modeling and drug screenin
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate biological systems into
microfluidic device - Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to scientific publication
Qualification
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in cell culture, preferably in a research
or academic setting. - Proficiency in cell biology techniques, including cell viability assays a microscopy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
