Project Research Scientist-I
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Research Scientist-I to work under an ICMR (IIRP-2023-7832) sponsored project titled “Establishing biochip-based cell-free DNA repair assay for cancer treatment outcome prediction” under the supervision of Dr. Kamalesh D Mumbrekar, Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Biology & Toxicology, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in any field of Life Sciences.
- Prior experience in DNA damage response and cancer biology will be preferred.
- Candidate with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
Remuneration: Rs 61,040 per month (including HRA) for two years as per the ICMR norms.
Duration of the project: 2 Years
