Job Purpose
The incumbent will perform SPR/BLI-based method development for client projects using Biacore T200/8K and Octet Red96/HTX instruments. He/she has to design experiments, analyze, and compile the data for client sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute SPR/BLI method development across different functional areas within Syngene discovery biology.
- Communicate findings clearly, document observations daily, and report.
- Prepare detailed reports for sharing with clients.
- Improve lab efficiency and streamline operational processes to increase productivity.
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted in the company.
- Follow EHS requirements at all times in the workplace, ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc/M.Pharm/M.Tech in Life sciences or related field.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Prior experience in kinetics estimation with large molecules and therapeutic proteins using Biacore is desirable.
- Theoretical knowledge of protein kinetics estimation and protein-protein interaction.
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot data generated.
- Knowledge of working with small molecules and membrane proteins in a Biacore instrument will be an added advantage.
- Preferred experience in Octet/BLI, ELISA, DSF, and other biomolecular interaction/characterization techniques.
Experience: 3-6 years post-qualification.
Behavioural Skills:
- Take accountability and ownership for respective job functions, maintain data integrity, and exhibit good data management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, diligent documentation, and efficient communication skills.
- Good data management by ALCOA+ framework.
