Junior Research Fellow
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under an SERB (CRG/2022/003498) sponsored project titled “Understanding the mechanisms of fucoidan fractions from brown algae possessing biostimulant and growth-hormone like activity for application in crop plants” in the Department of Plant Sciences, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in the field of Botany/Plant Sciences, Algal Biotechnology, Phytochemistry, Barcoding, Metabolomics.
- Candidate with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
- Candidate with experience in Plant tissue culture, Molecular Biology, Phytochemistry, Chromatography, and Metabolomics is preferred.
Remuneration: Rs 31,000/- per month and HRA as per the SERB/MAHE norms.
Duration of the project: 2 Years
