Recruitment Notice

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for an Extramural (funded by DHR-GIA; Proposal ID: 2022-1881) research project entitled “Molecular epidemiology of non-polio enteroviruses (NPEV) in India” at the Department of Virology at PGIMER, Chandigarh on a tenure basis. The following post will be filled up on a purely contractual basis:

Number of Posts: 01

Essential Qualification: Graduate in Science/relevant subjects from a recognized university with first-class aggregate, with three years of experience from a recognized institute or Masters in Virology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Genetics from a recognized institution with first-class aggregate

Desirable:

• Prior experience in molecular and cell culture work will be preferred.
• Scholars who are selected through national eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE, or any National-level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Upper Age Limit: Up to 30 years

Emoluments per month: Consolidated salary + HRA as per norms of the funding agency
