The following corrections are hereby made in Advertisement No. DIPAS/HRD/RA&JRF/01/2024, regarding the essential Qualification for the post code JRF01 is as under:-
FOR: For the Post Code JRF-01:
Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc) OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.Tech) in Life Sciences/Human Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Biomedical Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biophysics/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Genetics with valid NET/GATE/National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies.
READ: For the Post Code JRF-01:

- Candidates who have applied earlier for the post-code JRF-01 against the advertisement No. DIPAS/HRD/RA&JRF/01/2024 published on 27th July 2024, need not apply again, as the schedule of interviews for already shortlisted candidates for the Post Code JRF-01 remains unchanged i.e. 04th September 2024.
- The consolidated results of interviews held on 04th September 2024 and 22nd October 2024 for the Post-Code JRF-01 would be declared after 22nd October 2024.

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in basic and applied Life Sciences research. Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates to work in ongoing and futuristic research projects of DIPAS for the following positions:

How to Apply:
Eligible candidates may send their application with detailed CV in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of relevant certificates, grade/mark sheets through registered post to Head HRD, DIPAS, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054, latest by 20th August 2024.
General Conditions:
- For the Post Code RA-01:
(i) Stipend: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA as per rules applicable in DRDO.
(ii) Tenure: Tenure of RA would be limited to a maximum period of two years.
(iii) Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis are also eligible to apply. However, the Research Associate’s fellowship shall be awarded only after the candidate has been awarded the degree or provisional certificate for the same. - For the Post Code JRF-01:
(i) Stipend: For JRF is Rs. 37,000/- + HRA as per rules applicable in DRDO.
(ii) Tenure of JRF would be limited to a maximum period of five years. Selected JRF would work initially for first two years as JRF and would subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance, assessed annually as per DRDO guidelines.
(iii) The selected candidate (Sr. No. 2 & 3) may be permitted to register for Ph.D program from either Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi or Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. - Application form can be downloaded from the website www.drdo.gov.in and the candidate should send hard copy of duly filled application form along with supporting documents to Head-HRD, DIPAS, DRDO, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054, through registered post. (NOTE: The candidate is required to mention post code on the envelope).
- Last date of receipt of application form is 26th August 2024.
- Shortlisted candidates will be communicated through email to appear for the interview.
- On the day of interview, the reporting time shall be 0900 – 1000 hrs at the main gate reception of DIPAS, Timarpur, Delhi-110054. Candidates who report after 10:30 hours would not be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Candidates must carry original certificates/ testimonials and a set of supporting documents w.r.t. qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview.
- Candidates presently employed in Government Departments/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC issued by their employer at the time of interview.
- Please note: Electronic items like Smart/Mobile phones/Pendrive/Laptop/CD-ROM etc. are not allowed inside DIPAS Campus.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or for joining (if selected).
- Number of vacancies may change as per organizational requirement without any prior notice.
- This is a temporary research position offered by DIPAS DRDO.
- It may be noted that mere offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right of absorption in DRDO.
- No candidate shall claim admission as a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Institute, which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof.
- Director DIPAS reserves the right to scrap the whole selection process anytime, without any prior information and reason assigned therefor.
