Position: Quality Assurance Officer
Function: Quality Assurance
Location: Ranjangaon, Pune
Educational Qualification:
- Food Technologist/ MSc Food Science / MSc Chemistry / Bio-Tech / MBA
- Green Belt Six Sigma Certification, PCQI (Only for FSO)
Experience:
- In the FMCG industry, specifically in Biscuit/Cake/Bakery/Food Manufacturing
- Prior Experience of Handling Consumer Complaints/Dealing with Consumers Directly
Desired Competencies:
- Good Communication Skills, Written & Verbal
- Experience on CRM Tool Preferred
- Expertise in Excel / Working on Spreadsheets is Essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze quality trends, proactively identify potential quality failures, and ensure appropriate preventive action
- Provide support to the quality team for vendor quality audits as and when required
- Ensure compliance with testing frequencies and sample sizes as identified in the quality manual
- Verify test results are within specification limits and flag exceptions/violations to the quality manager for appropriate action
- Ensure effective implementation of quality walls, defectives quality inspection, etc.
- Identify corrective actions and verify the implementation of agreed corrective actions
- Participate in central quality audits and respond appropriately to audit observations
- Agree on findings, identify corrective action plans, and verify implementation
- Review quality complaints, FBC complaints, and ensure root cause analysis is conducted with agreed actions implemented
- Ensure hygiene standards are consistently maintained in the plant and take appropriate actions/ensure escalations whenever non-compliance to standards is observed
