As an Associate Microbiologist based in Ahmedabad, you will have a meaningful role in ensuring the seamless implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) norms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Clean Environment: Implement GMP norms rigorously to maintain a clean environment for sterile preparation as per international standards and guidelines.
• Sampling and Testing: Conduct sampling and testing for Water for Injection (WFI), Double Reverse Osmosis (DRO), Single Reverse Osmosis (SRO), raw water, and pure steam.
• Validation Sampling: Collect validation samples as per the validation protocol to ensure quality and compliance.
• Trend Analysis: Prepare and analyze trends of the results acquired from various tests to determine overall efficiency.
• Personnel Qualification: Qualify personnel for entry into the clean room, ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance guidelines.
• HEPA Filter Qualification: Perform periodic HEPA filter qualification and as needed to ensure efficient functioning.
• Laboratory Operations: Operate laboratory instruments and equipment as the need arises, ensuring effective and efficient use.
• Non-Conformity Management: Initiate non-conformity or Out of Specification procedures in case of any observed abnormalities.
• Data Entry: Perform data entry for trend analysis of daily results to supervise and improve performance.
• Communication of Issues: Communicate any failures or abnormal notifications to respective supervisors to seek timely solutions.
• Preventive and Corrective Measures: Bring any abnormalities in clean room or manufacturing areas to the attention of the supervisor and suggest preventive and corrective measures.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Degree in Microbiology or a related field with confirmed expertise in microbiological testing.
• Experience: Previous experience in environment monitoring, media preparation, and growth promotion testing is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments and equipment, with a strong understanding of GMP norms.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in delivering outstanding outcomes and continuously striving to improve processes and work efficiency.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze trends and determine the efficiency of various processes.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with the team.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to strictly adhere to guidelines and suggest preventive and corrective measures for any identified issues.
