Positions Available under the Unilever-Sponsored Project
Applications are invited from interested eligible candidates for the positions of One (01) Research Fellow and One (01) Project Assistant under the Unilever sponsored project entitled “Evaluation of the impact of Biostimulants on yield and quality of Tea” at Agronomy Department of Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, Jorhat, Assam 785 008 as per following details. The appointments will be purely on a temporary basis for 3 years, and hence the Institute will not provide any employment after the completion of the project.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Research experience in relevant field. |
Rs.25,000 + 10% HRA per month. | Project-related research work. The candidate will have the responsibility of field work and laboratory work. |
| 2 | Project Assistant
Upper Age Limit: 30 years |
1 (One) | Essential Qualification: Graduation (Science) from recognized university.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Botany |
Rs. 15,000 per Month + 10% HRA | Field and laboratory work. Data collection at different locations. |
Project Duration: 3 years only
General Instructions:
- The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates should submit a soft copy of the duly filled application form as enclosed below along with all certificates to the email ID: [email protected] on or before 6th September, 2024.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be provided for attending the interview.
- Shortlisted candidates must produce the original documents during the interview and need to carry a set of photocopies of all documents (Certificates and Mark sheets from Class 10 onward, experience certificates, date of birth, and Photo ID card, etc.) for verification.
- All other terms and conditions of appointment will be governed by prevailing Institute’s rules, and the decision of the Chairman of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
- Selected candidates need to join immediately or at very short notice.
- The Director, Tea Research Association, Tocklai Tea Research Institute reserves all rights of selection or rejection of a candidature including cancellation of the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
