Walk-in interview for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a SERB sponsored Project Date: 28/06/2024
Project Title: Functional inter-connection between WISH and cell-wall biosynthesis/remodelling pathway in rice blast fungus
Position: (One) Junior Research Fellow
Fellowship Duration: 7 months
Stipend and allowances: Fellowship- Rs. 31,000/- p.m. plus 24% HRA
Date and time of interview: 9th July 2024 at 11.00 AM
Venue of interview: Conference Room, Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, 86/1 College Street, Kolkata 700073, West Bengal
Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized board/university; UGC or CSIR NET-LS qualified and prior research experience in the field of molecular biology and plant pathology is preferred.
- Interested candidates need to send their CV (doc/pdf) with a cover letter through email to the Co-PI ([email protected]) on or before 9th July 2024. The candidates are required to bring originals and self-attested copies of their mark sheets/certificates during the time of the interview, along with a Government issued photo identity proof (original).
- No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for the interview.
- The above position is purely contractual and is for the duration of the project only. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in this institute.
