Applications are invited from the interested and eligible candidates for a post of JRF in the project entitled ‘Development of AI Augmented Multispectral Microscope for Precise Diagnosis of Oral and Prostate Cancer.’ This is a collaborative project between Dr. Ananya Barui, Assistant Professor, Centre for Healthcare Science & Technology, IIEST Shibpur and Prof. Sanghamitra Sengupta, Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta, Kolkata. The project is funded by IIT Kharagpur I-HUB Foundation (Reference no TRP3RDAG6446 dated 15.3.2024).

Essential qualification: M. Tech in Biomedical Engineering/M. Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or allied fields in Life-Sciences with first class or equivalent grade/CGPA and a valid NET-LS/NET-JRF/GATE.
Desirable qualifications: Hands on experience in microscopes (optical/confocal)
Age: 28 years (relaxation as per Govt. norms)
Tenure: Initial appointment will be given for one year and is subjected to extension up to a maximum of two years based on performance and availability of funds.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA per month

The digital copies will be verified with original ones at the time of the interview. The candidate must mention a valid email ID and mobile number in her/his application.
- A preliminary scrutiny on applications will be made and only short-listed candidates will be intimated for the interview.
- The time and venue will be intimated later through email to the eligible candidates.
- The eligible candidates should carry two copies of self-attested hard copies of testimonials along with respective originals for verification on the date of the interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
