NIPER-Guwahati is the only National Institute in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the entire North Eastern Region of our country. It was established in the year of 2008 to provide high-quality pharmaceutical education and research with a focus on the exploitation of natural and synthetic products of this region for drug discovery and development.

NIPER-Guwahati received approval from the Government of India for the establishment of the Incubation Center named Bio-NEST NIPER-Guwahati (North-Eastern Societal aspect for Translational Phytopharmaceutical/ Herbal Research). The centre is funded by BIRAC, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, under the Bio-NEST (Bioincubator Nurturing Entrepreneurship for Scaling Technology) Scheme. The Bio-NEST NIPER-Guwahati Incubation Centre is operated and managed by NIPER-Guwahati.

The Centre intents to fill the following positions on a contractual basis.

Name of the position and Fellowship: Technical Officer

Name of the Project / Sponsoring Agency: DBT-BIRAC, Govt. of India

Essential: Post Graduation in Life Sciences or Allied Areas.

Desirable Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience in the relevant field.

Max. Age limit: 32 years. Age limits are further relaxable for reserved categories as

Technical Officer: ₹ 32,000/- (consolidated)

How to apply:

1. Interested candidates are invited to apply using the prescribed format only, available on the website (www.niperguwahati.ac.in) from 11:00 AM on 14.06.2024 to 5:00 PM on 04.07.2024. It is mandatory to fill the application online and no other form of application will be entertained. Candidates are requested to arrange the softcopies of all the required documents before filling the application.
2. Applicants are required to take the print of the PDF application form, sign and send the same along with all self-attested relevant supporting documents (Age Proof, All Essential Degree Certificates, Proper experience certificates, Caste Certificate etc.) by Speed Post or Courier to NIPER-Guwahati within the prescribed date mentioned below. It is mandatory to submit the hard copy of the application form along with all the relevant documents as mentioned.
3. Candidates employed in Government or Government Organizations (e.g., CFTIs, Autonomous Institutions, Universities etc.) must apply through proper channel; or produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview; If selected, they must produce a Relieving Letter at the time of reporting for duty. Such candidates may send advance applications, but, if found eligible and shortlisted, they would be allowed to take part in the selection process only if the application is received through proper channel and/or a No Objection Certificate is produced on or before the interview date.
4. Except for the documentation sought above, no other certificate or documentation needs to be attached or provided at the stage of submitting the application. Such proof would be sought later, ONLY from short-listed applicants.
5. Completely filled-in application duly ink-signed along with documents mentioned above, should be sent by Speed Post or Courier to the address given below, ensuring it reaches the Institute latest by 11.07.2024 by 1700 hrs.

7. The institute will NOT be responsible for non-receipt of application (s) within the stipulated period due to any postal delay/loss of application/document sent in transit. Applications received after the last date and time will NOT be considered.
