Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a DST-SERB sponsored project with the following details:
Title: “Isolation, structural characterization, and evaluation of anti-cancer potential of selected plant lectins.”
Principal Investigator: Prof. Desh Deepak Singh, Biotechnology Department, Panjab University, BMS Block-I, Sector-25, Chandigarh.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF), one post.
Salary: INR 37,000/- plus HRA as admissible.
Duration: Initially for one year, extendable up to 3 years. The selected candidate should join immediately.
Minimum Qualification:
- M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences/M. Pharm or related disciplines.
- Candidate must have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF/LS or any other National Eligibility test with a valid certificate.
Age Limit:
- Upper age limit: 28 years.
- Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled candidates as per government norms.
