WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested Indian Nationals may attend the Walk-In-Interview on 2nd & 3rd April, 2024 at 10:00 AM onwards for selection on the position/s which intend to be filled-up purely on contract, time-bound, non-regular, temporary, and co-terminus basis under “Externally funded and In-house projects” of the Institute as per the details given below:

Date of Interview : 02nd April, 2024 at 10:00 AM onwards

Post I

Name of the Post: Project Scientist-II

Number of Positions: 02

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical/Environmental/Bioscience with at least 3 years of experience in NABL and GLP related activities.

Desirable Experience: Experience in handling hyphenated analytical techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS, etc., SOP preparation, study plan preparation, equipment calibration, method development, and validation as per regulatory guidelines, etc. The candidate with high-quality publications in reputed international journals in analytical research is preferable.

Salary: ₹67,000/- + HRA

Increment: 5% for every 2 years

of experience subject to performance review

Age Limit: 40 Years*

Post II

Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (Ecotoxicology)

Number of Positions: 01

Essential Qualifications: B. Tech/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology, or Ecology/Environmental Sciences) or M. Pharm or equivalent from a recognized university with UGC/CSIR-NET/GPAT or GATE qualified.

Experience: Two years of experience in conducting Ecotoxicology studies as per OECD GLP compliance.

Desirable Experience: Working Experience in Aquatic, Terrestrial, and Avian Ecotoxicology field and handling of Bird, Fish (Daphnia Zebra), Earthworm, Honeybee, etc., as per OECD principle.

Salary: ₹31,000/- + HRA
OR
₹25,000/- + HRA (Without NET/GATE)

Age Limit: 35 Years*

Post III

Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (Ecotoxicology)

Essential Qualifications: B. Tech/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Limnology, or Ecology/Environmental Sciences) or M. Pharm or equivalent from a recognized university with UGC/CSIR-NET/GPAT or GATE qualified.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The above positions are purely temporary in nature and on a contract basis with co-terminus on completion of the projects/requirements and non-transferable to any other projects.
2. The above positions are initially for a period of one year further extendable based on the continuation of project(s)/requirements and subject to satisfactory performance of the individual.
3. The candidates who fulfill/meet the prescribed norms for the post should attend the Walk-In-Interview on the scheduled date and time along with CV/Bio-data in the prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of certificates in support of their education/experience/age/caste etc.
4. Cut-off date for determining the upper age limit, qualification, experience, etc. shall be the last date of receipt of the application.
5. The candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed norms can be considered for the next below position with lower remuneration at the sole discretion of IPFT.
6. The Institute reserves the right to fill or reject/modify all or any specific posts as notified in the advertisement.
7. The numbers of vacancies are indicative and may be increased or decreased. The number of posts advertised is provisional and can be varied as per the requirement of the Institute.
8. It may be noted that the offer of contractual hiring/appointment against the advertised post/s will not confer any right on the selected candidates for absorption in IPFT or claiming any status whatever.
9. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
10. The well-deserving candidates with relevant qualification and performances will be encouraged for Ph.D. Enrollment.
11. No TA/DA shall be payable for attending the interview.

Note: Depending upon the number of candidates, the interview may be continued for the subsequent days also.
