Key Responsibilities
- Perform experiments for the development of immunodiagnostic products, mainly ELISA and rapid card assays.
- Perform molecular testing of clinical samples as required.
- Organize data and update R&D records.
- Support technology transfer and process establishment.
- Prepare sample panel banks.
- Manage inventory, including updates and ordering.
- Prepare and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 standards to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintain R&D data and technology-driven methodologies in line with company policies, ensuring accurate recording of raw data.
- Manage R&D projects, including design and development, process optimization, clinical trials, technical troubleshooting, documentation, cost analysis, and quality standards.
- Provide technical and scientific support to R&D, production, and PMT teams for related projects and activities.
- Ensure proper biohazard waste management in R&D in accordance with SOPs and guidelines.
- Train officers and junior staff.
- Prepare procedures and protocols and verify R&D logbooks.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology
Experience Required
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) field is preferred.
- Expertise in developing in-vitro diagnostic kits such as ELISA and rapid card tests.
