Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: Development of Next Generation Multi-Epitope Vaccine against Leptospirosis. PI Dr. Syed M. Faisal.
I. Post Code: Project Scientist-C (Non-Medical) position (1 Position)
Tenable upto: One year, likely to be extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project (February, 2027).
Eligibility:
- 1st Class Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/M.Tech in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc.) including the Integrated PG degree from a recognized university with three years’ experience or PhD. OR
- 2nd Class Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/M.Tech in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc.) including the Integrated PG degree from a recognized university with a Ph.D. degree and three-year experience.
Experience: A candidate with experience in molecular biology, immunology techniques, animal (mice, hamsters) handling is desirable. Candidates with prior experience working on Leptospira infection model will be preferred.
Fellowship amount: Rs.67000 + 27% HRA (If applicable)
Age: 40 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
