Project Associate-I – Life Sciences
National Institute of Immunology (NII Delhi) is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Associate-I. This project is titled “JC Bose Fellowship” and is funded by SERB. The duration of the project is six months.
Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in any area of life sciences with good academic record.
Job Description: The selected candidate will be involved in C. elegans genetics, fluorescence imaging, behavioral assays, and molecular biology. Candidates must have documented experience in handling C. elegans, setting up genetic crosses, and conducting behavioral assays. Additionally, candidates should have undergone a 6-month training during their Master’s degree in a research laboratory. Hands-on experience in molecular biology and/or cell biology will be preferred.
Emoluments:
- Candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam will receive a consolidated emolument of Rs.31,000/- per month plus 24% HRA.
- Candidates who have not qualified the NET Exam will receive a consolidated emolument of Rs.25,000/- plus 24% HRA (as per the DST OM dated 10.07.2020).
