Job Purpose
As a Downstream Manufacturing-Junior Executive, your responsibility will be to execute downstream manufacturing processes at our manufacturing facility for cell culture products. This includes operating production equipment, buffer preparation, ensuring compliance and safety, reporting deviations, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and execute the downstream manufacturing process as per the BMR instruction
- Operate production equipment according to standard procedures
- Clean equipment and verify area cleanliness on a daily basis
- Prepare buffers and perform error-free operations
- Ensure compliance of equipment and implement techniques/systems to meet project targets
- Report production deviations and incidents to supervisors
- Calibrate operations equipment
- Dispense raw materials and process consumables as per BMR
- Maintain operations equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Department
- Adhere to pollution control and safety requirements
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety measures
Experience
1-3 years post-qualification
Behavioural Skills
- Capability to work in a team and demonstrate good team spirit
- Ability to follow instructions while demonstrating innovation
- Good communication skills
- Proactive attitude towards assigned responsibilities
Technical/Functional Skills
- Expertise in downstream unit operations
- Experience in buffer preparation and filtration
- Experience in handling pH and conductivity meters
- Experience in dispensing and reconciling raw materials and consumables
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry
