Job Description
Eurofins Advinus is currently seeking an Associate Sr. Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing in vitro assays for small and large-molecule biochemical screening services. You will also be involved in developing novel cell-based assays and conducting cellular experiments for readouts such as ELISA, Western blot/IP assays, and flow cytometry. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or Immunology.
Qualification and Experience
- PhD +2 years or MSc +5 years in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or Immunology
Key Responsibilities
- Be involved in the design and execution of in vitro assays for small and large-molecule biochemical screening services; this would include identification and optimization of the right assay and assay formats (both low and high-throughput screening assays) and validating the assays using pharmacological tools.
- Develop cell-based assays and conceptualize novel assays to establish MoA.
- Conduct cellular experiments for readouts like ELISA, Western blot/IP assays, and flow cytometry. Perform mammalian cell culture techniques like isolation of immune cell subsets and cell-based immunological assay development using primary rodent and human immune cells.
- Ensure the highest data quality and integrity standards and be accountable for result interpretation and report generation.
- Analysis of raw data, interpretation of results, and report data in a timely manner.
- Preparation of slides and presentations to external collaborators in a timely manner.
