Hello there, attaching some of the expected interview questions and answers for your reference. After applying for the Job, you can prepare the same and do well in the interview. All the very best !!!

  1. Question: Can you elaborate on your academic background and the area of science you specialized in during your Master’s degree? Answer: I completed my Master’s degree with a first-class distinction in Biotechnology. My coursework focused on molecular biology, cell biology, and genetic engineering, providing a strong foundation for research in this field.
  2. Question: How did you acquire experience in mammalian cell culture, and which specific molecular biology techniques have you worked with in the past? Answer: During my Master’s degree dissertation, I was involved in research projects that required working with mammalian cell cultures and performing molecular biology techniques such as Western blot, PCR, and RNA/DNA isolation. My experience was duly endorsed by the authority overseeing the projects.
  3. Question: Can you share an example of a challenging situation you encountered during your previous work with mammalian cell culture, and how did you overcome it? Answer: Certainly! While working with mammalian cell cultures, I faced challenges in maintaining cell viability and preventing contamination. I addressed this by strictly adhering to sterile techniques, maintaining optimal culture conditions, and regularly monitoring cell health.
  4. Question: What motivated you to pursue a research career in the area of “Dissecting domains of APLF chaperoning EMT in development”? What do you find most intriguing about this project? Answer: The intricate relationship between APLF and EMT in development piqued my interest during my academic studies. This project’s potential to uncover novel insights into cellular processes and their impact on development aligns perfectly with my research aspirations and passion for scientific exploration.
  5. Question: How would you approach designing an experiment to study the specific domains of APLF chaperoning EMT in development? Outline the steps you would take to ensure the experiment’s success. Answer: To study the APLF domains involved in chaperoning EMT in development, I would begin by conducting an extensive literature review to identify existing research and methodologies. Next, I would design specific primers and probes for PCR analysis targeting the relevant domains. Validation through Western blot and further functional assays would follow. Rigorous documentation and adherence to experimental protocols would be essential to ensure the experiment’s success and reliability of results.
