  1. What do you know about cell biology, biochemistry, and tissue engineering? How have you applied your knowledge in your previous work experiences?
Answer: As a candidate, I have a degree in Biotechnology/Biological Sciences or Allied disciplines, which provided me with the necessary background in cell biology, biochemistry, and tissue engineering. In my previous work experiences, I was able to apply my knowledge by conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting my findings to my team.
  2. What experience do you have with mammalian cell culture? Can you describe your experience in maintaining and supporting the smooth running of the experimental lab?
I have had extensive experience with mammalian cell culture. I have worked on several research projects that involved maintaining cells, media preparation, and supporting the smooth running of the experimental lab. I also have experience in troubleshooting cell culture issues and ensuring that the lab is equipped with the necessary supplies.
  3. Can you describe your understanding of spheroids/organoids on-chip and how you would prepare, characterize, and analyze them?
Answer: I understand that spheroids/organoids on-chip are three-dimensional models of tumours that can be used to study the effects of drugs/chemicals on tumor spheroids. To prepare, characterize, and analyze them, I would first culture the cells, then seed them onto a microfluidic chip. I would then analyze the spheroids/organoids using microscopy and biochemical assays to assess their size, morphology, and biochemical properties.
