Highly motivated and eligible candidates are invited to apply for JRF position (Leading to Ph.D.) at the ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. Interested candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in and fill in his/her own handwriting, may send it to the Principal Investigator, Dr V.Sudhakar Reddy, Scientist-C, Biochemistry Division by email ([email protected]) along with the soft copies of certificates of educational qualifications and JRF certificate in the PDF format. The last date for receiving applications is 17-02-2023. Short-listed candidates will be called for personal interviews/discussions with the Principal Investigator/ Academic Council of NIN.
Job Title – Junior Research Fellow
Vacancies – 1 Post (UR)
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Nutrition (from a recognized University) qualified with ICMR/CSIR/UGC/DBT / DST-INSPIRE JRF EXAM WITH JRF FELLOWSHIP ONLY. CANDIDATES QUALIFIED FOR NET FOR PROJECT JRF OR LECTURESHIP ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Desirable qualification: Experience in handling animal experiments.
Areas of research: Nutritional Biochemistry, macro and micronutrient metabolism, chronic diseases.
Age: Below 28 years as of the date of notification.
Stipend: As per rules of ICMR / CSIR / DBT / UGC /DST.
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification, ICMR/CSIR/ DBT /DST -NET JRF-fellowship qualified letter and Community Certificate along with a set of photocopies of the same duly self-attested and latest passport size photo and complete bio-data while attending the personal discussion/interview. No TA/DA will be paid for this purpose.
General Conditions: ICMR/CSIR/ DBT /UGC/DST Fellowship Rules are applicable for the above JRF position. The selected candidate will have no right to claim any regular employment at this Institute.
