Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up one post of Junior Research Fellow and one post of Lab Technician on-contract basis for the ICMR funded project entitled “Epidemiology, molecular characterization and antifungal susceptibility of dematiaceous fungi isolated from patients with cerebral phaeohyphomycosis: a multicenter prospective study from India” under Dr.Arghadip Samaddar, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurmicrobiology, NIMHANS.

Duration of the post – 1 Year. The initial appointment will be made for a period of 03 months, which

Emoluments – Rs. 31,000/- plus 27% HRA per month only
Essential Qualification –
- M.Sc. Microbiology/ M.Sc. Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Medical Microbiology from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. Should have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the Microbiology Laboratory after post-graduation
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests/CSIR/ UGC-NET and GATE.
- The selection process is through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc etc.
Desirable – Candidate with experience in molecular techniques, such as PCR and sequencing.
