Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis for the ICMR project titled “Can P-selectin be early diagnostic markers for postpartum cerebral venous thrombosis?”, under Dr. Kruthika Vinod T P, Senior Scientific Officer, Department of Neurochemistry & Principal Investigator.

Maximum Age limit – 28 years
Duration of the post – 3 years. (Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended every 12 months for 3 years (or till the end of the project

Essential Qualification –
a) M.Sc. Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
Scholars are selected through a process described through any of the following:
b) Scholars/fellows who are selected through National Eligibility TestsCSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualified.
c) The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and by their agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable – Essential experience in Immunoassay techniques (ELISA), Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics.
Nature of Work – Collection, handling and processing of clinical samples, Sample analysis, ELISA, Data analysis and Molecular Biology work.
