Applications are invited for the post of ONE Junior Research Fellow for the following time bound ICMR sponsored project as per the details given below:

Name of the Project – Study to explore cross kingdom regulation of anticancerous Indian Herbs derived Xenomirs in Lung cancer: Basic Research for future herbal oncotherapeutics
Duration – The project is valid for the period of three years. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended depending on the performance, requirement and project validity, whichever is earliest.
Age – Below 28 years as on Feb, 2023. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India
norms.
Job Description – The project involves profiling of plant Micro RNAs and
their role in lung cancer. Candidate should be well acquainted with molecular biology, Bioinformatics and cell culture techniques.Essential Qualifications –
- Post graduate degree (e.g. M.Tech/M.Pharm/M.Sc etc.) in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Pharmacy or similar Life sciences branches
- The candidate should be CSIR/UGC/DBT/JRF/NET (JRF or LS) or equivalent national/state level examinations. Selected candidates are encouraged to enrol for full time PhD programme of the institution.
Emoluments – JRF: JRF: INR 31000 + HRA 27% @ 8,370/- PM
