Walk-In-Interview

Interview (Walk in) will be held in Division of Microbiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi 110012 to recruit Senior Research fellow (1), Young Professional-II (1), Skilled Labour/ Contractual labour (2) under the Contract Research project entitled “Development of ready to use Pusa Decomposer formulation and its validation for in-situ & ex- situ decomposition of paddy straw” Code 79-152. The appointment is purely on temporary basis initially for a period of two years only. Post I

Name of the Post – Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Age Limit (maximum) –

Emoluments – Rs. 35000/- + 30% HRA per month

Essential – Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany/ Life Science and having 2 years of research experience in the same field.

Desirable Qualification – Working research experience in the field of Microbiology, Pathology; Exposure of maintenance of fungal culture; knowledge on computers, exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software.

Post II

Name of the Post – Young Professional II

No. of Posts – 01

Age Limit (maximum) – The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ ExServiceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.

Emoluments – Rs. 35000/- (Consolidated)

Essential – M.Sc.in Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Life Science

Desirable Qualification – Master degree in any relevant field will be preferred, knowledge of computers and data handling, exposure to statistical analysis, exposure to microbiological techniques.

Terms and conditions:

1. The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The post is co- terminus with the project, and will be offered initially for a period of 2 years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and further extendable based on satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
2. The candidate age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years, age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC, is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICARRules.
3. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or in ICAR. Non‐maintenance of the discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make the candidate liable for termination during the appointment period as per ICARrules.
4. Candidates should send their complete bio-data along with duly self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets, experience certificate (if any) and no objection certificate (NOC) from the employer in case of currently employed elsewhere through e‐mail to [email protected]. The candidate are advised to bring their originals at the time of interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. Candidates who are not able to append their essential degree completion certificate will not be eligible to attend the interview.
5. Candidates joining after specified time for online interview may not ordinarily be entertained.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
8. The interview of eligible candidates will be held online on 20th March, 2023 at 10.00 AM in the Division of Microbiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-110012.
