Name of the Project – Exploring the molecular insights and the role of mitochondrial changes during myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury and its recovery protocol in an experimental model of rat exposed to diesel particulate matter
Project Description – The project explores the pathophysiology of myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury in rat exposed to PM2.5 from diesel exhaust.

Essential Qualification –
- First-class Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physiology or Zoology.
- The applicant having documented experience from studies of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion in isolated heart models and/or in vivo models is preferred. Experience from laboratory methods including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, enzyme assays and cell cultures preferred.
Fellowship – 25000/-
