Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the following posts on a contract basis in the DBT-funded project titled ‘Explaining the differential severity of COVID-19 between Indians in India and the UK’ – under Dr. Manjunatha M V, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neurovirology and Co-Investigator.

Age Limit – 35 years
Duration of the project – Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable until the end of the project depending on the performance of the candidate.

Emoluments – Rs 35,000 + 24 % HRA
Educational Qualification – MSc in Microbiology / Virology / Medical Microbiology
Experience – Minimum of three years of research experience in diagnostic microbiology and virology, cell culture, virology techniques, public health virology and epidemiology, immunology and flow cytometry with at least one publication.
