Project Name & Funding Authority: Interaction of Jumonji domain containing 6 protein (JMJD6) and Y-box containing protein 1 (YBX1) and its impact on breast cancer progression.

Brief description: Breast cancer has the highest incidence among all cancers in women. We work on an epigenetic regulator JMJD6 that promotes cancer properties and cancer gene expression in breast cancer cells. Desirable Qualifications –
- NET-LS/ DBT-B qualified
- Hands on Laboratory experience for 1 year

How to Apply –
A Walk-in-interview is being organized for recruiting ONE (01) Project Associate to conduct experiments and administrative work based on molecular, cellular and protein biology towards meeting the objectives of the project to be executed by the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani. Selected applicants will be appointed for a period of 6 months and extended yearly depending on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds. This position is contractual and co-terminus with the project.
- The date of the walk-in interview is 6th December 2022 (Tuesday) from 11 am onwards.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The decision of NIBMG in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the application, mode of selection, and conduct of interviews will be final and binding on the applicants. In exceptionally meritorious cases, the eligibility requirements may be relaxed by the competent authority.

- Curriculum Vitae along with reprints of publications, if any
- One Passport- size coloured Photograph
- Original along with one set of Self-Attested Copies of Certificates of Educational Qualifications
- Original along with Self-Attested Copies of Experience Certificates
- Original and Self-Attested Copies of Govt. issued Photo ID proof
