A Junior project assistant position at IISER Kolkata for a Grant-in-Aid project of Dr. Amit Kumar Mandal, (as PI). The project is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Adhoc Project Program (Ref. no. BMS/Adhoc/8/2022-23 dated 27-06-2022).

Project Title: “Analysis of genetic variants of human hemoglobin and its effect in the assessment of glycated hemoglobin”
Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
Age Limit: Must not be over 32 years as of 1st December, 2022 which can be relaxed
for certain reserved categories as per the prevailing rules of the Government of India.
Tenure: Initially, the appointment will be given for a period of 1 (one) year.

- If the number of applicants is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately upon receipt of the offer.
- The job may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance is not deemed satisfactory.
