HLL is now looking for value-driven professionals with the right attitude for the following positions on a Regular/ Fixed Term Contract basis:
JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE (CELL CULTURE)

Job Title: JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE (CELL CULTURE)

Department: HLL Corporate R & D Centre, Akkulam, Trivandrum
Tasks
- Maintenance of the cell culture facility (Primary and secondary), storage of cell culture and standardization of protocols for pre-clinical studies.
- Undertake the routine tests for cytotoxicity of materials/drugs/compounds.
- To perform experiments like real-time PCR, western blotting, ELISA, and Flow cytometry with proper documentation and assist animal experiments of all projects related to the pre-clinical facility.
- To work as a team in the timely delivery of new products for the company towards product development.
Requirements
Maximum Age: 30 years as on 01.10.2022
Basic pay range (For Fixed Term Contract engagement): Rs.10,000 – 20,000/-
(The basic pay will be fixed within the pay range depending on the qualification, experience and the current pay drawn by the candidate. However, in addition to Basic Pay, DA, HRA and Perks will be applicable in fixing the final salary).
Qualification:
Essential: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 60% marks Post Qualification Experience
Essential: Minimum two years of relevant hands-on experience in handling cell culture (Primary and Secondary), doing cytotoxicity assays like MTT, DNA/RNA extractions and PCR, real-time PCR, and Electrophoresis techniques like AGE and PAGE, ELISA, western blotting and Flow cytometry.
Desirable: Technical/Theoretical know-how in Microarray and Next-generation sequencing platforms.

- Maintenance of the microbial strains and standardization of protocols.
- Undertake the routine tests for bioburden analysis, anti-microbial effectiveness of compounds/materials developed, sterility testing, MPN tests, Plaque forming assays, viral penetration assays, and SOP preparations with proper documentation.
- Clean room sterility maintenance and regular fumigations
- Undertake all the in-house projects related to microbiology experimentations
- To work as a team in the timely delivery of new products for the company towards product development.
Requirements

Desirable: Biochemical tests for identification of microorganisms and Immobilization of microorganisms.
