Two posts of Senior Research Fellow are available in the Division of Genetics in the ICAR-funded project purely on a contractual basis (as indicated below). The interview will be held on 12th October 2022 at 10.00 AM at the Division of Genetics, IARI, NewDelhi110012.

Terms and Conditions –

1. Age limit: Maximum 35 years for SRF positions (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/ Women and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Govt. of India/ ICAR rules).
2. Candidate should report by 9:30 AM on 12th October 2022 for verification of Certificates (must bring original certificates). Candidates reporting after 10.30 AM for verification of Certificates will not be considered for an interview.
3. No objection Certificate from the current employer is required if working is compulsory.
4. Biodata as per the format given in Annexure 1 should be submitted along with self-attested copies of 10th, 12th, Under-graduation (original/provisional), post-graduation
   (original/provisional), Ph.D. and NET/GATE and other certificates required. Affix a self-attested recent passport-size photograph in the Biodata. The biodata should contain Academic qualifications starting from 10thStandard to the maximum qualification with % marks obtained, distinction/medal if any. This is required for the calculation of the academic scores. If the candidates do not fill in the marks and relevant attested certificates, the academics core will not be awarded.
5. Candidate should submit office orders for research experience, in addition to the certificate from the PIs, wherever applicable.
6. Candidates should bring project work report/thesis, testimonials/experience certificates, published research papers, etc. to support their claim of experience.
7. Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed
8. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
9. All the candidates need to submit the Declaration as per the performa given. The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relatives is an employee of theICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship in writing so as to reach The Head Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI New Delhi ([email protected]) by 7th. October 2022. If on the date of the interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for an interview.
10. The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year or completion of the project duration whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended based on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent. There is no provision for re-engagement after the termination of the scheme. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the respective scheme.
11. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Emoluments – Rs.31000/- + 24% HRA pm or Rs.35,000/+24%HRA (with two years research experience)

Essential – Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years of bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification, equivalent, or Ph.D.in any of the above disciplines.
