Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities –
- Prepare medium and equipment, monitor cultures, take samples, turn-around of fermenters and bioreactors, sterilization and inoculation.
- Must have experience of Production Microbiology operations.
- Plate counting, microscopic examination.
- Operate general production equipment such as Autoclaves, Glass washers, Incubators, Analytical Scales, pH/conductivity meters, etc.
- with experience in GMP production including aseptic processing, chromatography, TFF, Final Formulation and Filling
- Participate in writing standard operating procedures and batch production records.
- Experience with cultivation and/or pilot scale cell culture vessels.
- Participate with senior staff in implementing project safety and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information.
- Document and maintain activity records according to cGMP regulations.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of the laboratory.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with others
- Ability to accurately analyzes and processes scientific data
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documentation per approved procedures
- Identify and support the implementation of process efficiencies and areas for improvement
- Ensures solutions are consistent with the organization’s objectives
- Demonstrate ability to perform all process steps upstream and/or support production operations
- Has to come in A, B, C Shift Pattern
- Ability to generate SOPs for equipment and procedures used in the manufacture of biological products
Qualifications – M. Sc in Biochemistry OR B. E. in Biotechnology from a reputed institute
Work Experience – Minimum 3-7 years of experience in a relevant field preferably from the food, dairy, nutrition, nutraceutical and pharma industry.

- Understanding of cell culture, microbial fermentation or protein purification
- Excellent Computer skills
- Detailed Orientation
- Analyze and interpret data and process trends.
- Laboratory Inventory Management System & QMS
