Job Title : Medical Scientific Liason

Job Location : Kolkata

Job Description

• Establish and maintain professional relationship with healthcare providers, including clinical trial investigators, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Serve as an educational resource to healthcare providers about Roche Diabetes Care products (current and in development)
• Communicate scientific information in a variety of settings, including but not limited to internal meetings, clinical investigator meetings, advisory boards and individual discussions
• Establish relationships with opinion leaders to expand research, advisory and other collaborative opportunities
• Serve as a liaison for healthcare providers who express interest in conducting investigator-initiated research, to facilitate review and consideration of research proposals
• Represent and support our products at medical conferences
• Respond to unsolicited requests for information on clinical data
• Keep abreast of changes in treatment trends that could impact our products
• Serve as a disease-state resource and communicate information obtained from appropriate field interactions to internal staff
• Participate in training and planning meetings within the company
• Work closely with sales & marketing and from a medical perspective; provide input into marketing strategies and the development of promotional materials

Education & Experience

Education

• Minimum – Medical or science background (pharmacy, life-science/biotechnology)
• Preferred – Medical Doctor or PhD qualifications, with specialization are preferred

Experience

• Minimum – 2-3 years
