Name of the Project – “Transcriptional engineering of a fast-growing marine cyanobacterium Synechococcus sp. PCC 11901 towards efficient metabolites production”
Age Limit – 28 years (relaxable up to 3 years for OBC candidates; 5 years for SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Emoluments – (INR 31,000+ 18% HRA)
Qualifications – The candidate should be M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Life Science/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Microbial Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% marks and must have qualified NET or GATE.
Desirable Qualifications – The candidate should have prior hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and they are expected to have prior experience in gene cloning and proteomics. In addition, hands-on experience with the cultivation of cyanobacteria will be preferred.
