RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW in Zoological Survey of India, Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre (APRC), Itanagar.
The position is for a period of three years and purely on a temporary basis and will be terminated on completion of the project. On Completion of two years, the JRF will be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) based on satisfactory performance and assessment by the Expert Committee set up for the purpose.

General Instructions –
- Date and Venue of Interview – 5th July 2022, online (Video Conferencing), from 11.00 AM onwards. The link will be sent to emails of short-listed applicants.
- Age Limit – Age shall not be more than 28 years as of the last date of submitting the application.
- Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their qualifications and experience.
- Short-listed candidates will be informed through email only, for appearing for the online interview. Therefore, candidates are advised to provide correct and working email IDs, and to check their emails regularly during the period.
- Candidates should submit their duly filled applications in the prescribed format as MW Word files and a scanned copy of the same with self-attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, proof of date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations, as PDF files.
- The closing date for the submission of the Online Application is 28th June 2022.

Educational Qualifications – Master’s degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences/Wild Life Sciences/ Environmental Science, with Zoology as a major subject in B.Sc., from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications – Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or allied subject, field survey experience with knowledge of collection and preservation of specimens and GIS mapping. Should be conversant in one of the local languages of Arunachal Pradesh.
JRFs are expected to undertake extensive field surveys in the mountains, forests and wetlands of Arunachal Pradesh and therefore, are required to be physically fit to work in the harsh and difficult terrains of the State.
Remuneration – Rs. 12,000/- + Admissible HRA (As per rules)
