Designation – Senior research associate-Protein Purification

Department – Discovery Biology
Job Purpose – The incumbent will be a part of the Large molecules group and will be responsible for supporting the protein purification team.
Key Responsibilities –
- Able to perform Affinity chromatography-protein A & His tag, size exclusion, and Ion exchange chromatography.
- Analysis of the proteins by SDS PAGE, Western blot, Analytical SEC, Mass Spectrometry.
- Preferred to have the ability to operate AKTA and HPLC.
- Experience in bacterial and Yeast culture work will be added advantage.
- Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
- Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
- Wearing all PPE as required.
- Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene’s data integrity policies
- Compliance with Syngene’s quality standards at all times.
Educational Qualification –
; M.Sc/M.Tech in Life sciences or related field.Technical & Functional Skills –
- Good knowledge of Protein purification.
- Prior experience in Affinity chromatography, size exclusion and Ion exchange chromatography are desirable.
Experience –
- 2 – 6 Years of relevant experience post qualification.
Behavioural Skills – Good oral, written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
