Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Name of the Project – “COVID-SCAN (Novel diagnostic platforms for point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 detection)”
Name of the PI – Dr. Sonu Gandhi.
Age – 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
How to Apply –
Applications are to be filled ONLINE. The online link for submission of the application is available from 29th June 2022 and the last date is 13th July 2022. Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill out the online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email
and interviewed online by the duly constituted selection committee. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, and experience certificates are required to be submitted at the time of joining.No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
Eligibility–
Post Graduate Degree in Biomedical Engineering with NET qualification or Post Graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences. (Eligibility criteria as per SERB OM No.SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25.08.2020). However Non NET candidates can also apply and will be paid as per their eligibility. Candidates with experience in nanotechnology, hybridoma generation and device fabrication will be preferred. Candidates having prior experience in working with the development of diagnostic assays is desirable.
Fellowship Amount – Rs. 31,000/- + admissible HRA per month as per the SERB guidelines.
