WALK-IN-INTERVIEW Date 30th, June 2022

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview for engagement on a purely temporary basis as Project Associate-I/II in the CSIR Funded project tenable at CSIR -CIMAP, Research Centre, Pantnagar. The eligibility criterion is as follows.

Name of the Post – Project Associate-I/II (Agricultural Sciences & Biological Sciences)

No. of Posts – 01

Age Limit – 35 Years

Stipend per month –

For Project Associate-I

• Rs. 31,000 plus HRA (for CSIR NET or GATE qualification)
• Rs. 25,000 plus HRA (for non-CSIR NET or GATE qualification)

For Project Associate-II

• Rs. 35,000 plus HRA (for CSIR NET or GATE qualification)
• Rs. 28,000 plus HRA (for non-CSIR NET or GATE qualification)

Qualifications –

For Project Associate-I

1. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT- NET JRF/LS qualification or GATE. OR
2. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science).

For Project Associate-II

1. 1. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/Micro biology/ Plant Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT- NET JRF/LS qualification or GATE and TWO years of experience in research and development in a research organization
2. M. Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/Microbiology/ Plant Science) and TWO years of experience in research and development in a research organization

Desirable – Work experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

• Date and time of the interview – 30th June 2022 (11.00 AM to 3.00 PM) with the following preventive measures for COVID-19.
• Mode of selection – Walk-In-Interview

Terms & Conditions –

1. Engagement will be till 31st March 2023 and may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and desired level of performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
2. The tenure of Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
3. The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post in CSIR-CIMAP.
4. For Project Associate-II the upper age limit as mentioned above will be as on (Dated 30th June 2022) i.e. date of walk-in-interview which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities and OBC candidates.
5. Special age relation in the case of Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not remarried as per rules.
6. Upon completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
7. The project staff shall is permitted to avail leave as per rules.
