Terms and Conditions –

1. Age Limit for the positions is 28 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. The minimum age should be of 18 years as of the date of the interview.
2. Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the CV sent by them would be intimated for the
   interview.
3. No objection certificate from the employer should be attached, in case he/ she has employment.
4. Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification of the candidate.
5. The selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at this institute as the above positions are purely contractual, non-regular, time-bound and are co-terminus with the project.

Emoluments –

• Rs 31000/-per month +HRA (for JRF)
• Rs 35000/-per month +HRA (for SRF)

Essential Qualifications – Individuals having NET/GATE qualifications are eligible for JRF.

Essential – Individuals having a minimum of two years of research experience after an MSc or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant breeding/ Botany or related
fields of plant sciences.

Desirable – Knowledge of wheat crop/crossing and developing mapping populations.

Responsibilities of JRF/SRF – DNA and RNA extractions; PCR based genotyping; analyses of biochemical parameters/components in wheat grain.
