National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Guwahati (NIPER-G) is an autonomous institute of national importance and the first national pharma institute in NE India set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an act of parliament, to impart high-quality Education & Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institute intents to fill the following Project position in Core Research Grant (CRG) – SERB sponsored project through Walk-in-interview (Online) on a contractual basis.

- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview as it will be conducted in online mode.
- Full documents verifications will be done for provisionally selected candidates. Therefore, selected candidates are requested to bring all educational qualifications to mark sheets, certificates, proper work experience certificates in original as well as a set of photocopies of all the documents for both verification & submission at the time of physical joining subjected to qualification.
- A copy of the negative COVID-19 RTPCR report along with a certificate of 2 doses of Vaccination needs to be submitted prior to document verification & submission at NIPER-G for further physical joining.
- The fulfilment of qualifications and experience is an essential requirement. The candidate will be called for a virtual online interview. As stated, the Institute is free to set the benchmark and call only the eligible candidates for the personal interview online. Further, NIPER Guwahati also reserves the right NOT to fill any of the posts advertised, in the event of exigency so decided.
- The current positions are contractual and are purely temporary in nature and the same is renewable depending upon performance and mutual consent for every year. The candidate will have no right to claim for regularization. All appointments are contractual in nature and on the pay as mentioned in the respective columns of each position.

Salary – Rs.31000 plus 16 percent HRA
Essential Qualifications – First class in MSc/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology.
Desirable Qualifications –
- Familiarity with mammalian cell culture, three-Dimensional in vitro cell culture models, animal handling with basic research laboratory protocols, molecular biology procedures and techniques.
- Good basic knowledge of different computer operating systems (e.g. Linux, and Windows), software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Good oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team of scholars as per project requirements.
