How to Apply –

Applications are invited to attend walk in interview at Room No. 35, Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi – 110012, at 10:00 AM. The posts are purely on contractual basis.

The eligible candidates are requested to attend the interview on April 21st, 2022 with their application in the enclosed Performa along with self-attested scanned copy of the original documents. Original documents will be verified at the time of Interview. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Terms and Conditions –

1. Age limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF/JRF, age 40 years for RA and Skilled Worker/ Helper for 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
2. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31.03.2023 or till completion of project whichever is earlier and may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.
3. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
4. The candidates will have to compulsorily filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the scan certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and a recent photograph enclosed onto the scan application form. Proof of experience and publications. The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificate at the time of joining.
5. No TA/DA/ any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
6. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the online interview.
7. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
8. The candidate intending to attend the walk in interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing before interview. If on the time of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such
   candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
9. All the other candidates are also required compulsorily submit the scan declaration duly signed in the format annexed along with other documents in the mail.
10. In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.

For Post I 

Emoluments – Rs. 31,000 + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National
Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
OR
25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under above. (DST OM No. SR/S9/Z05/2019 Dated 10/07/2020)

Essential Qualifications – Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and
Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have NET (National Eligibility Tests) – UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Or equivalent or Ph.D.

Desirable Qualifications – Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and
handling of field crop.

For Post II 

Emoluments – Rs. 47,000 + HRA

Essential Qualifications – The Institute/Organization Ph.D. in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualifications – Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and
handling of field crop.

For Post III

Emoluments – Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA and Rs 35000+ 24% HRA from 3rd year.

Essential Qualifications – Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and
Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience.

Desirable Qualifications – Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and
handling of field crop.

For Post IV

Emoluments – Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA and Rs 35000+ 24% HRA from 3rd year

Essential Qualifications – Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and
Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Baclrelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
