Name of the Post – Lead/ Senior Executive – QHSE-Mumbai

Location – Mumbai, Maharashtra, India On-site

Job Description –

• Ensuring the effective implementation of principles of food safety, quality, environment, health, and safety system as per the defined guidelines and meeting legal compliance for POD’s, Cold Chains and Warehouse
• Ensuring QHSE processes are followed and adhered to in their respective PODs.
• Developing internal and external indices on POD’s and Warehouse compliances for their respective city
• Monitoring consumer complaint trends, working with cross-functional team on corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement for their respective PODs’.
• Conducting periodic audits to ensure adherence to statutory and food safety controls in PODs.
• Follow up of NC closure for both external and internal audits with POD.
• Ensure developed corrective action on nonconformities is implemented effectively.
• Supporting for the preparation of external audits
• Involved in root cause analysis for the identified non-conformities or complaints.
• Verify the corrective action implementation effectiveness.
• Conduct an As-is study to verify the developed process compliance of PODs & Warehouse.
• Ensuring record-keeping of audit/customer complaints/ corrective action & Preventive action
• Delivering onsite training programmes on QHSE and FSMS as per the need of the PODs at basic
• Ensuring the policy’s communication to all the properties of the organization and its implementation similar to the corporate level.
• Developing customer indices and working towards improvements for PODs
• Developing PODs and Warehouse QHSE compliance Matrix on QHSE indices for their PODs
• Developing internal and external indices on POD’s and Warehouse compliances for their respective PODs

Required Experience And Skills

• Education Qualification – Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology
• Experience – Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the ” Food industry” preferably in retail segments or warehouse
• ISO 22000 or HACCP and ISO 9001
• Exposure in FSMS system in Retail operations
• Certified internal auditor on ISO 22000 / HACCP.
• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System
