Project Duration – Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to the duration of the project (about 3 years) solely based on performance.
Age Limit – 28 years on the date of application, with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- CV should include address, contact number, date of birth, and details of qualifications i.e., examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks etc. from Secondary onwards and including any research experience. Complete details of NET such as year of passing/validity, discipline, marks, All India Rank and number of candidates appeared should be mentioned in the CV.
- Candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria are not necessary to be called for interview. Shortlisting criteria may be higher than the minimum eligibility. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- Google Meet based Online interview will be conducted on March 08, 2022, from 12 pm onwards.
Terms and conditions –
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in this institute.
- Decision of the selection committee is final.
- No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview
Emolument – Rs. 31,000/- pm + 24% HRA (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Rs. 35,000/- pm + 24% HRA (3rd Year) as eligible.
Essential Qualification – Candidate having M.Sc. degree (with at least 60% marks) in Plant Biotechnology/Plant Science/Botany/Life Sciences or relevant area with NET (JRF/LS).
Desirable Qualification – Candidates with hands-on experience in working on fungal pathogens in the field of Molecular Plant-Pathogen Interactions will be preferred.
